My Poppyseed-Vanilla Porridge: Hot Berries and Vanilla Sauce

And here is another little recipe with my favorite N'Oats Poppyseed-Vanilla porridge. You can find the original recipe for this one from N'Oats here. I did just very small changes this time... This one is a very fast and simple one, but also a pretty one :)

Check out my other "My Poppyseed-Vanilla Porridge" recipes: Tangerines and Layered with Nuts.

Ingredients:

  • 60g (6 Tbsp) N'Oats "Poppyseed-Vanilla Porridge"
  • 200ml almond milk
  • 3 Tbsp frozen berries
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 Tbsp vanilla sauce
  • 1 Tbsp roasted almond flakes

Preparation:

  1. Prepare the oatmeal as usual. Stir the oats into the milk, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 3 minutes. Keep stirring.
  2. Prepare the berries. In a small cup, add the berries and sprinkle with the sugar. Usually, the frozen berries are not really sweet. Then heat up for a minute in the microwave or on the stove. Stir till the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. Put it all together. Add the porridge to a bowl and pour the berries on top. Drizzle with vanilla sauce and almond flakes.
